Yup! I'm burning daylight right now, and that's a rare commodity during these short Alaskan winters!!
I have the day off of work and I'm supposed to be doing some pre-holiday housecleaning. (Joe is home, so Thanksgiving is at our house this year!) BUT I just finished lunch and am sitting at the computer reading artsy-crafty type blogs. This is MUCH more fun!! Fred Meyer's had a killer sale on yarn, so I went a little over on my holiday food budget. hee hee!! Ever since our trip to Oklahoma, I've been a crazy girl with my knitting. Not quite as productive as my sister, but I'm having great fun. I'm working on a purse out of a variegated rose colored wool (which I will felt later), a hat and a baby blanket. Of course I have several scarfs I am working on at the same time, as well!
Nathan headed to Anchorage with some friend's this morning. His band, the Scurvies, have a couple of gigs down there. I wish I could have gone - these guys always put on a great show! When he gets back Monday, he will be taking his CDL test. He's hoping to get on in January at the same company Joe works for, driving truck. This will mean that I'm the only one in this family who has never been a truck driver. Don't worry - I am so NOT succumbing to the peer pressure! The "shop talk" during our family get-togethers will intensify though. "sigh!!"

Ooo, knitting! Pictures, please!
oh come now, having a mom for a truck driver would be awesome! You could stop shaving your legs, and we could call you Berta, and you could move to delta to live in a waterless cabin with a garage big enough for everyones trucks!
lol, your daughter has it all worked out for ya sis!
I second Becky on the pictures, do be sure to post.
Ordered your stamps today, will mail soon as I get them
