Accomplishing absolutely nothing and loving it!

Every day since we came home from the states, I have had something going on. I have literally hit the ground running!!! Meetings at church every night after work have been the norm. It's been intense and rewarding, but frankly, right now I'm totally burned out!

I have no pictures to post today. Because I'm doing nothing I should be doing! I didn't have to work, go to any meetings, talk to anybody. It's 7 p.m. in the evening; I'm still in my P.J.s and haven't even combed my hair or showered. It's been a WONDERFUL day! I did a little housework and laundry, only because I wanted to. (I can't have much fun when what I see is in complete disarray. And I didn't look in the mirror! haha) I played my piano, spent lots of time on the internet researching collage techniques, answering a few e-mails, talked to Jacki on the phone (she was having contractions 3 minutes apart last night, but still no baby), slept in late AND took a nap later on! I also put some pictures in a beautiful "collage style" frame.

After I'm finished here, I'm going to work on my painting. Sunday afternoon a friend of mine prayed an beautiful prayer over me went something like this...."Lord, I pray that you would stir the creative juices in Lisa. That she would be able to create with absolute freedom by the power of your Holy Spirit. I bind a spirit of fear of failure and fear of man. May she be able to play in whatever medium she chooses like a little child." Monday after work I threw down a drop cloth in the spare bedroom, laid down my canvas and started painting. I was so inspired, I totally forgot about prayer meeting. (I made it, but was arrived 10 minutes late). I have an idea where the painting is going, but have no intention to tell, or even show it right now. Maybe when and if I finish it!

I hope to get to see some of your paintings eventually... May God continue to bless the time you spend with paints and brushes.
