Will winter EVER be over?

We got a load of snow dumped on us yesterday! And this was after a good start on our annual spring thaw; ie:mud, mud and more mud mixed in with all the trash. Oh well, at least this looks prettier! I was still in "hermit" mode, so the only time I ventured out was to take this pic.

Jacki has dilated to 2 centimeters and effaced 70%. I guess that means she's going to have a baby! The doctor thinks she may go into labor this weekend, but if not he said they would induce her labor on Monday, if there are beds available. Dan will be here until the 21 of April, then he has to go back to work in Prudhoe for three weeks. Jacki is very nervous about being by herself, so she's probably moving in with us for a week or so, until she feels confident with her mommy skills. I didn't have the heart to tell her one NEVER feels confident with their mommy skills. Us moms just kind of make it up as we go along - at least I did! But I had fun!
Every night after work, Nathan has been coming home and heading to the basement to record his audio book he's working on. He wrote a short story some time ago and is now recording it, along with all the sound effects and music. Dawn, I still have not moved our bedroom back upstairs since the summer you all were here, but I'm seriously thinking it's time!

Yikes! If you don't feel confident in your mommy skills at this point, I'm really in trouble! I know I'm making it up as I go along, but I was hoping to reach a point where I felt more confident. ;)
